Cranberry-Orange Slush Cocktail

The perfect drink to have on hand for drop-in guests! The slush freezes quickly when packaged in 1-pint containers and can be used directly from the freezer. If you’d like to freeze in large quantities for punch, freeze for one or two days, until firm.



2 cups brandy

1 bottle (32 ounces) cranberry juice cocktail

1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

1 can (12 ounces) frozen cranberry juice concentrate, thawed

2 bottles (1 liter each) lemon-lime carbonated beverage or sparkling water



Mix all ingredients except carbonated beverage In nonmetal container. Divide among pint containers. Cover and freeze at least 8 hours until slushy.

For each serving, mix equal amounts of slush mixture and carbonated beverage in glass. 30 servings.

CRANBERRY-ORANGE PUNCH: Place slush mixture in small punch bowl. Add carbonated beverage; stir.

You can make this drink up to 2 months ahead of time. Covered tightly, it keeps in the freezer very well.
